Chocolate Cupcakes

These cupcakes are very delicious, really chocolatey and also a little crunchy on the top.

INGREADIENT

    • 1 1/4 cups plain flour
    • 1/2 cup cocoa powder sweetened
    • 2 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp vanilla essence
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 2 cups buttercream icing *to decorate

Direction

    1. Beat the butter and sugar until creamy.
    2. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    3. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
    4. Add half the flour mixture to the creamed butter, then add milk and combine remaining flour.
    5. Spoon mixture into cupcake pan lined with paper cups until cups are ¾ full.
    6. Bake at 180C for 20-25 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
    7. Decorate with buttercream frosting.
