Chocolate Cupcakes
These cupcakes are very delicious, really chocolatey and also a little crunchy on the top.
INGREADIENT
- 1 1/4 cups plain flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder sweetened
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups buttercream icing *to decorate
Direction
- Beat the butter and sugar until creamy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
- Add half the flour mixture to the creamed butter, then add milk and combine remaining flour.
- Spoon mixture into cupcake pan lined with paper cups until cups are ¾ full.
- Bake at 180C for 20-25 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
- Decorate with buttercream frosting.
