Clumpy Chocolate Granola
Homemade granola is much tastier than store-bought granola. It’s cheaper to make it yourself, it can be flavoured to your personal preferences and best of all, it is so much healthier for you.
INGREADIENT
- 3 tbs coconut oil melted
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups oats
- 1/4 cup wholemeal flour
- 1 tbs cacao powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 handful mixed nuts raw
- 1 handful mixed dried fruit
Direction
- Preheat the oven to 180-160C fan-forced and line an oven tray with baking paper.
- Mix the coconut oil, honey and vanilla extract together in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine the oats, flour, cacao and cinnamon.
- Add the oat mixture to the coconut oil mixture, half a cup at a time. Ensure the mixture is properly mixed before adding the next cup.
- Once combined, add in the nuts/seeds and dried fruit and mix well.
- Place mixture onto the oven tray and cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely before placing in an airtight container.
