Double Chocolate Muffins
Muffins with yoghurt.
INGREADIENT
- 1 3/4 cups plain flour
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 100 g butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup plain yoghurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
Direction
- Sift the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
- Melt the butter, add the remaining wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Add the combined liquids to the dry ingredients and fold together until the flour is dampened, but not smooth.
- Divide the mixture evenly between 12 medium sized, greased muffin pans.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips if desired before baking. Bake at 200C for 12 minutes.
