French Onion Toast

A tasty snack for taking to a party. This simple recipe will have your guests asking for more!

INGREADIENT

    • 250 g butter softened
    • 1 bread stick
    • 40 g French onion soup mix

Direction

    1. Preheat oven to 200C. Slice the bread stick as thinly as possible (the thinner the better).
    2. Mix the softened butter and the french onion soup in a small bowl. When combined, spread over both sides of each slice of bread.
    3. Place bread on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 5 minutes or until slightly browned and turn the bread over.
    4. Bake a further 5 - 10 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and firm to touch.
    5. Cool on a wire rack (the bread goes crunchy when it cools) and serve with a favorite dip, or with cheese.
