Homemade Sausage Rolls

Great for kids' parties and easy to make.

INGREADIENT

    • 1 kg beef steak, minced
    • 1 onion diced
    • 420 g mixed vegetables
    • 1 cup dried breadcrumbs
    • 3 eggs
    • 1/3 cup teriyaki marinade
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp spice mix
    • 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste
    • 1 tsp curry powder
    • 6 sheets puff pastry
    • 2 tbs Italian mixed herbs *to decorate

Direction

    1. Blend eggs, onion, vegetables, marinade and all spices together, then add to the mince. Mix thoroughly and add enough breadcrumbs to soak up the liquid in the mix.Homemade Sausage Rolls
    2. Roll out the mixture as thick or as thin as desired.Homemade Sausage Rolls
    3. Cover sausage mixture with pastry and cut each roll into 4 party sausage rolls, or as desired.Homemade Sausage Rolls
    4. Place on trays and brush with a little water. Sprinkle each sausage roll with mixed herbs or Italian herbs.Homemade Sausage Rolls
    5. Cook at 180C for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.
