Homemade Sausage Rolls
Great for kids' parties and easy to make.
INGREADIENT
- 1 kg beef steak, minced
- 1 onion diced
- 420 g mixed vegetables
- 1 cup dried breadcrumbs
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup teriyaki marinade
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp spice mix
- 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 6 sheets puff pastry
- 2 tbs Italian mixed herbs *to decorate
Direction
- Blend eggs, onion, vegetables, marinade and all spices together, then add to the mince. Mix thoroughly and add enough breadcrumbs to soak up the liquid in the mix.
- Roll out the mixture as thick or as thin as desired.
- Cover sausage mixture with pastry and cut each roll into 4 party sausage rolls, or as desired.
- Place on trays and brush with a little water. Sprinkle each sausage roll with mixed herbs or Italian herbs.
- Cook at 180C for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.
