Mini Turkey Sausage Rolls
Fantastic party finger food, or a quick and easy snack for the kids.
INGREADIENT
- 500 g turkey mince
- 3 tbs tomato paste
- 1 tbs low-fat ricotta
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp Italian mixed herbs *to taste
- 1 white onion chopped
- 4 sheets puff pastry defrosted
Direction
- Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl, except the puff pastry.
- Ensure that puff pastry is partially defrosted (cover the pastry with a damp tea towel to ensure no hard edges).
- Spoon mixture across the top edge of a sheet of pastry, roughly 2.5cm wide and 2.5cm high.
- Roll pastry over to form a tube and slice off excess pastry.
- Seal the pastry and cut into small pieces.
- Repeat with the excess pastry until all the mixture is used.
- Brush with beaten egg and bake at 220C for around 20 minutes.
