Moulded Club Sandwich
An alternative way to prepare club sandwiches and great to take on a picnic.
INGREADIENT
- 1 loaf bread
- 1 cup lettuce shredded
- 1 cup egg hard-boiled mashed
- 1 cup carrot grated
- 1 cup cheese grated
- 1 cup ham (deli) shredded
Direction
- Cut crusts off bread and spread one side with margarine or mayonnaise.
- Lay approximately 7 slices of bread, buttered side facing up, on the inside of a Tupperware jelly mould, overlapping bread to fit.
- Add a layer of filling.
- Cut 3 slices of bread in half. Place buttered side up over the filling.
- Make another layer of halved bread slices, pressing down slightly.
- Add final layer of filling.
- Place another slice of bread, buttered side down, over the filling and tuck it over the top and down the sides of the previous layers.
- Place lid on the mould, pressing firmly and evenly until the lid fits properly.
- Refrigerate for a couple of hours or overnight.
