Open Steak Sandwich
An open grill sandwich that's great with a beer.
INGREADIENT
- 8 beef fillet steaks
- 4 roma tomatoes
- 4 slices bread
- 1/2 cup whole-egg mayonnaise
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar *to dress
Direction
- Cook steaks on a heated grill or BBQ.
- Place tomatoes cut-side up on an oiled tray then drizzle with olive oil.
- Place under the grill until soft (about 10 minutes).
- Combine mayonnaise and garlic.
- Toast both sides of the bread, then spread each piece with the mayonnaise mixture.
- Top with steaks and tomato, and sprinkle with balsamic vinegar.
