Provencal Breakfast Champignons

Healthy and quick sauteed mushrooms to add to your breakfast plate.

INGREADIENT

    • 10 button mushrooms large quartered
    • 1 tsp Herbes de Provence
    • 2 tbs cold pressed olive oil
    • 1/4 tsp Himalayan pink salt

Direction

    1. Clean the button mushrooms with a brush or paper towel and cut into quarters.
    2. Heat a frying pan over high heat and add the olive oil. Add the mushrooms and fry on every side until golden, approximately 10 minutes.
    3. Season with the herbs and salt, and mix well with the mushrooms. Shake the pan on higher heat until the herbs evenly cover the mushrooms.
    4. The mushrooms should not lose their natural juice during frying. If they do they will not turn that golden, so use higher heat for that.
    5. Turn off the heat and plate up.
