Reuben Sandwich
A New York deli style sandwich.
INGREADIENT
- 2 tbs soft butter
- 8 slices rye bread
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 350 g corned beef cooked sliced
- 225 g sauerkraut well drained
- 100 g thousand island salad dressing
Direction
- To make 4 sandwiches, set out 4 slices of bread.
- Top evenly with meat, cheese and sauerkraut.
- Spread dressing on remaining bread and close sandwich with the dressing side inside.
- Butter outside top of sandwich and grill butter side down on medium high.
- Butter the other side while bottom is browning.
- Flip the sandwich and grill the other side.
