Sesame Roll-Ups
Delicious bread roll-ups - great for morning or afternoon teas or entrees.
INGREADIENT
- 12 slices wholemeal bread
- 12 slices ham (deli)
- 1/2 cup mushrooms finely chopped
- 4 spring onion sliced
- 1 cup sesame seeds
- 1 cup cheddar cheese grated
- 1 egg lightly beaten
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 90 g butter melted
Direction
- Cut crusts from bread, roll each slice firmly with a rolling pin.
- Place a slice of ham on each piece of bread, trim to fit.
- Combine mushrooms, spring onions, cheese, egg and pepper in a bowl, mix well.
- Divide mixture between each slice, spread evenly over ham.
- Roll up bread and secure with a toothpick, brush with melted butter and roll in sesame seeds.
- Place on an oven tray.
- Cook in a moderately hot oven, 190C, for about 20 minutes or until browned.
- Remove toothpicks and serve.
