Sesame Roll-Ups

Delicious bread roll-ups - great for morning or afternoon teas or entrees.

INGREADIENT

    • 12 slices wholemeal bread
    • 12 slices ham (deli)
    • 1/2 cup mushrooms finely chopped
    • 4 spring onion sliced
    • 1 cup sesame seeds
    • 1 cup cheddar cheese grated
    • 1 egg lightly beaten
    • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
    • 90 g butter melted

Direction

    1. Cut crusts from bread, roll each slice firmly with a rolling pin.
    2. Place a slice of ham on each piece of bread, trim to fit.
    3. Combine mushrooms, spring onions, cheese, egg and pepper in a bowl, mix well.
    4. Divide mixture between each slice, spread evenly over ham.
    5. Roll up bread and secure with a toothpick, brush with melted butter and roll in sesame seeds.
    6. Place on an oven tray.
    7. Cook in a moderately hot oven, 190C, for about 20 minutes or until browned.
    8. Remove toothpicks and serve.
