Smoked Salmon and Asparagus Linguine

Creamy salmon and asparagus pasta - sounds decadent, but is so fast to make.

INGREADIENT

    • 300 g linguine pasta
    • 12 asparagus ends trimmed
    • 3/4 cup light cream
    • 4 tbs fresh chives chopped
    • 200 g smoked salmon cut into strips

Direction

    1. Cook pasta according to directions.
    2. Place asparagus in a dish with a small amount of water, cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Cut asparagus into pieces.
    3. Place cream and chives in frying pan and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring.
    4. Add salmon and asparagus, and warm.
    5. Fold sauce through pasta and serve with a salad.
