Stuffed French Stick
This is good to take to a BBQ or to eat as a light lunch or snack.
INGREADIENT
- 6 egg boiled
- 1 stick French bread
- 150 g cheese spread
- 150 g butter room temperature
- 3 tbs mustard
- 5 sweet and sour cucumber chopped into pieces
- 1 red capsicum cut into slices
- 1 green capsicum cut into slices
- 250 g kransky sausage sliced
- 1 pinch black pepper
Direction
- Boil the eggs in small saucepan of water for about 10 minutes. Strain and leave to cool in cold water.
- With an electric mixer, mix butter,cheese, and mustard until fluffy. Add boiled eggs, cucumbers, capsicum, kransky and season with black pepper. Gently mix with spatula and taste, if anything need to be added to mixture.
- Cut the French stick lengthways. With the side of your hand press down on the inside of the bread to make a deeper hole and room for filling. Generously add mixture to bread stick and sandwich with the other half. Wrap bread in foil and leave in fridge for 1 to 2 hours, unwrap and slice.
