Tasty Turmeric Balls

Try these 3-step turmeric balls as a healthy winter snack idea. They are vegan and contain no refined sugar. Plus, as well as a warm peppery flavour, turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory properties.

INGREADIENT

    • 18 pitted dates
    • 1 1/2 cups almonds *soaked for 4 hours
    • 2 cups shredded coconut
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 2 tbs chia seeds
    • 1 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
    • 1 tsp ground turmeric *for dusting

Direction

    1. Place all the ingredients in a highspeed food processor except for the extra turmeric.
    2. Process until well combined and sticky.
    3. Roll into bite sized balls and dust with the extra ground turmeric.
