Tasty Turmeric Balls
Try these 3-step turmeric balls as a healthy winter snack idea. They are vegan and contain no refined sugar. Plus, as well as a warm peppery flavour, turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory properties.
INGREADIENT
- 18 pitted dates
- 1 1/2 cups almonds *soaked for 4 hours
- 2 cups shredded coconut
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbs chia seeds
- 1 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp ground turmeric *for dusting
Direction
- Place all the ingredients in a highspeed food processor except for the extra turmeric.
- Process until well combined and sticky.
- Roll into bite sized balls and dust with the extra ground turmeric.
